Re: Tinman pics
another view, the 70 behind will trickle into the 125 across the front. These feed from a larger tank in front, this is a partial bypass to help my conditions here

Re: Tinman pics
dude that is cool looking, kinda reminds me of a display refugium on a saltwater setup, be sure to post pics when you get your mud flat setup done and keep up the good work.

Re: Tinman pics
This shows the mud flat location behind the 8' tanks , my fish sink is behind for filter maintenance with a mixing valve tied into my system for water changes . The sink is next to the sump pictured just before

I am going to try 1 every 2 weeks for the front ,should get more soil than plants for awhile . I am going to split these starts as I grow

Frankenstein, these tanks are as a group a river system . Each tank is specific to the Loach it houses . These have groups of loaches and other occupants ,namely catfish to maintain the tanks .One is for Clown Loachs , one for Red Tail Blue Botia , one for Yo-Yo and Striata's's ,one is for Syncrossus helodes or the Tiger Loach, and one for Dario's.The upper 8' houses my larger fish including Silver Dollars, Pink Tailed Chaelceus,Synodontis ,Red tail shark and a Gold Severum .
The refugium I am adding is for adjusting water conditions long term . Its occupants will be shrimp and the snails that supplement my feeding here . It is a 125 gal. long tank being fed from 2 70 gallon tanks that trickle in from a larger tank . 10% of my flow will be diverted across this in final form I am guessing.

You bring him to visit sometime , 1800 gallons is all.... I will make some new vids of my occupants for you to see if I can get enough spots off the glass. The fish are the reason for this insanity .I just love em.....

Re: Tinman pics
They are definetely what turns my world. I have missed them so much and when I got a chance at my 35 I took it. It just wasn't enough though....lol I bought my 58 for $85 and invested more from there. It's worth every penny. I have been looking for a 75 for cheap and have found a couple but haven't had the money at the same time they are for sale so they get snatched up. Ah, but that's part of the fun...shopping and putting it all together and then seeing your fishies swimming in it for the first time. Then it's time to do it all again.....have I got the bug or what?
