i have a few astrea snails, a couple of margarhita snails, some astrea starfish and a sand sifting starfish. i also have a tiny long tentacle nem.

ive got 6 margarita snails, 1 turbo snail and a bunch of hermits, i think i need to get one more turbo

i keep less margaritas snails and more astrea snails. although the margaritas work faster they do not live as long because they do not handle the higher temps of the reef tank. margaritas prefer water temps that are a little cooler than the astrea snails and a temp lower than corals prefer.

alot of people do not know this, then when they have margaritas they wonder why their lifespan is so short. keep more astreas than margaritas the margaritas work quickly and will be cheaper replacing in fewer number since you will have astreas to fall back upon.
