soa guy at my lfs today told me something i never knew and wanted to check with you guys and see what you know. if you have a pair of Picasso's or blk and wht clown, when they breed their fry will not all be the same as the parents?? i would like to know any info you guys have about this. i was going to buy a mated pair of platinum clowns and breed to sell but if thats the case it would b a huge waste of money

dru, in some cases teh colors of the sw juvies will vary drastically from teh parents, in the case of imerator angels and semicirculatus angels for example the juvies look nothing like the adults, where as some other sw fish will look the same from start to finish.

ya i know and understand that fish change as the get older liek the angels you said, who look nothing like theey do as a adult lol but clowns from what im reading 1 outta for will look like the parent when they get older. but im not sure if this is something weird about ORA fish or what cuz this info is on their site and the fish at my lfs were ora as well. so im not too sure about all the details
