    wow so its 4:51am and i pause my eps. of law and order: svu to go get a nice cold bottle of water. i have blue moon lights on my tank so i decide to take a peek and see what my babies are up to. and this is what i see:

    now i dont know it i need to take tyson (my kill shrimp lol)out of the tank, or did my fish just die, and tyson found him self a late night snack!!!!! idk what to do or if i even have anything to worry about!!!!! im not a happy camper either way.

    well i ca answer your question (sort of) LOL. ok first off cardinals besides being fugly (JMHO) are slow and dont move around alot making them easy prey in certain situations. a coral banded shrimp on the other hand are really quick and will be agressive to anything that gets in his/her little area of the tank. ok so with that said the reason is still unclear but could go either way, the cardinal could have been ill and died or it could have got into the cb's area and want fast enough to escape. i had a cbs but the only thing i had to worry abotu were other shrimps (couldnt have any with him) so i put him down in my refugium whre he stayed for over a year until he passed away yesterday.

    yeah mine was agressive to everything in my display tank but he never bothered anything in the fuge, not even the sickly lemon damsel tht i also kept in it.
